We have you work directly with our airfare travel agents to determine which flights work best for your group. The flight decisions are up to you to decide on which pricing and routing is the best option for your group. Maybe you prefer a nonstop flight, the cheapest flight, a morning flight, an evening flight, or one airport over another. Don’t worry, you don’t need to scour the internet searching for flights, our travel agents will give you a number of options to choose from.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind when looking at airfare for your group. Every airline offers different options on group travel. That is each airline may have a different deposit amount, refund policy, payment schedule, name change, drop policy, etc. Our airfare agent will give you all the specifics so that you can make an informed decision. Summer flights tend to be significantly more expensive than other times of the year. Traveling to and from major airports tends to be cheaper due to competition amongst airlines. Realistically you can expect to pay anywhere from $900 to $1,600 per person for economy group travel to Europe dependent upon destination, departure location, time of year, and flight routing. All airfare payments are made directly to our airfare agents.

This portion of the tour is our specialty and the most important. Pricing for the land package is dependent upon the various choices you make regarding: country(ies) of destination, type of accommodation, meal options, number of persons in your group, and whether or not you are playing tournaments or friendly matches. Simply put some countries are more expensive than other countries, we do not recommend Switzerland for example.

Accommodation may be provided in sport hotels, sport training facilities, or in cheaper options such as dorms or classrooms when playing in tournaments such as Gothia Cup and is based on shared rooms. Various meal options are offered through many of the family run hotels and sport hotels that we offer. Your package may include no meals or up to 3 meals a day at place of accommodation. Most teams tend to have breakfast and dinner at their place of accommodation and pick up lunch on the road while sightseeing during the day. Some tournaments may offer a cafeteria meal plan. Transportation for your group will in most cases be provided by a chauffeur driven coach which is not based on a per person rate, but rather a flat rate. Therefore the more people in your group, the cheaper per person we can offer this service at. Land packages tend to range from $100 to $150 per person per day with the first day and last day of the tour usually counting as a single day.

In general the typical out of pocket expenses while on tour include souvenirs, meals away from place of accommodation, some sightseeing entrances such as castles or museums, and professional match tickets. Some of these expenses may be included in the tour package and we will inform you of what is included with each specific tour. It is good to budget a few hundred dollars for out of pocket expenses.

We are able to offer one (1) free land package for every twenty (20) persons. Typically the first free land package is designated for the coach.

As an example, we had a group of 42 persons go on our “Sound of Music” tour to Germany and Austria this past summer. We consider this the best tour for all things considered and definitely the best bang for your buck tour. The land package cost was $130 per person each day and included 2 free land packages. This package included accommodation at a family run sports hotel, 2 meals daily, training facilities, coaching, friendly matches, transportation by private coach, sightseeing, and 1 professional match. So with airfare of approximately $1,350 and 11 days in Europe ($1,300), the total trip costs were approximately $2,650 for the air and land packages. You can see the itinerary for this tour in our Team Tours section.
